Opening for Sir Rod Stewart

We are thrilled to announce that the opening act for Sir Rod Stewart's concert in Athens, on Saturday, December 13, at the Telekom Center Athens, will be Greek singer-songwriter Angelika Dusk.

The legend of the global music scene is coming to Greece for the very first time, for an unforgettable show packed with timeless hits, and Angelika Dusk will be kicking things off in spectacular fashion, bringing rhythm, drive, and her signature pop energy to the stage.

A fifteen-year journey filled with music and powerful collaborations

Angelika Dusk is a huge fan of the 80s. She grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Bryan Ferry, and Chris Rea, and dancing to the soundtracks of Footloose, Flashdance, and Beverly Hills Cop from the age of two.

For the past 15 years, she has been actively releasing music and performing live, with significant radio presence and standout appearances at major music venues and festivals in Athens, while she has also opened for artists such as Simple Minds, Boy George, Kaleo, Imany, and LP.

A journey to the 80s with 4 new singles

From October 2024 to the present, Angelika has released four new songs with a distinctly 80s aesthetic: "Deeper Love," a dreamy, up-tempo pop anthem perfect for cruising down the highway with the windows down; "Breaking My Heart," a track that channels Madonna and gets you moving no matter what kind of mood you're in; "Sýndesi Alithiní," the Greek version of "Deeper Love"; and her most recent release, "Miracle," a song driven by lush synth sounds, an irresistible dance beat, and an electrifying energy that's impossible to resist.

In the studio with top-tier talent

Angelika regularly collaborates with award-winning producer Rupert Christie (U2, Green Day, Coldplay, Lou Reed) and songwriter Jonny Lattimer (Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Rey, Rebecca Ferguson), and is currently in the process of creating her most "authentic" album to date—a fresh collection of pop songs directly inspired by the sounds of the 80s, recorded using genuine vintage gear from the era, featuring top-tier musicians, and infused with all of her heart and soul.

Angelika Dusk will take the stage at the Telekom Center Athens, warming up the crowd for an explosive evening that brings together two generations: her own youthful pop energy and the unparalleled legacy of Sir Rod Stewart, in a spectacular show that promises to be one for the books.
